A Moment in the Life of a Stager Girl

Sometimes we need to surround ourselves (literally) with our work in order to continue to be creative. Our “to do” list is a bit different in that we have throw pillows, linens, furniture, art and accessories on it. Below is a planning session with three of our Rock Star team members. My Sister Extraordinaire and I are very proud of this moment because back in the day it was 100% just us and we didn’t have heat or an ever-so-cool staff.

One More Thing...

Don’t start snuggling up with a hot cup of cocoa or start relaxing by a fire with a hot toddy-at least not yet. You have one more thing to do in the garden. ORDER & PLANT BULBS. Because of our 4 seasons we get to take a rest from our garden’s weeds and watering-that’s a gift. Relaxing is just around the corner. So…clear out some pots and a small space by the front door and get your bulbs planted.

Okay, that’s done. Now get your Paper Whites and your Amaryllis started so you can have beauty inside for the holidays. Soon, you get to relax. Both of these are grown inside in the Pacific Northwest.

My hunch is that you will secretly thank me for pushing you forward on this one last task. I will have all of these ordered by sundown and in the garden (or my home) this weekend. ENJOY!

We finally had an opportunity to use one of our new purchases from our time at market in Las Vegas. We call it “the Ladies”. See the image in the media room. Took 3 of us to hang it but what a POW! it provided.

Sexy Skyscraper

Staging a condo in a high rise always presents challenges. Ya gotta have the chops for jobs like this. The elevator is scheduled for a block of 3 hours and you have to make it happen in that amount of time. Sometimes we have to share the elevator which creates more challenges. The Concierge must be your friend! And the planning of the furniture, art and accessories has got to be spot on. I think we made it work on this one. Actually, I know we made it work! Isn’t the final result beautiful!?
