I love when a home has some real Seattle history. Built by a “Timber Baron”. This home is stunning! There is a back stairway that services all of the “servants” areas. I went over 30 minutes working without seeing any of my staging peeps. Yes, it’s that big. I am only showing you a small portion of it.

Being the intern I only get to look at these beautiful projects from behind a screen so I thought I would try and make some of the amazing looks that Open House Stagers create come to life. To me, this entire room is brought together by one piece in particular, can you guess which piece it is….? The center table. I love the wood and metal look, here are some similar pieces.

Alright now let’s jump to the TV consoles, not as glamorous as the white sectional BUT necessary to bring it all together. Try and match the wood with the rest of the room if you can.

The Principal's Office

What fun to be a part of staging in an iconic building. The old Queen Anne High School. Go Grizzlys!! And…it’s the principal’s office. All of us Stager Girls got lost in this big building. Harken back to your Freshman year. Remember the fear of getting lost? It takes you back in time for sure.

Sad Fact: Due to low enrollment it got turned in to 137 apartments in 1986.

Fun Fact: The school was created after the Alaska Gold Rush flooded thousands of new students to the Seattle area.

Power of the Pillow

As many of us practice the Stay-at-Home policy we cannot help but notice our homes. We now have time to purge, organize, paint, clean, craft and decorate.

Our very own Jo lovingly reigns over our Pillow Department in our warehouse. She mixes and matches, takes chances and the outcome is beautiful. We all watch and learn.

Jo says “a pillow can magically transform a room. As we prepare for summer, it is more important than ever to love your space.” Her inspiration today came from Earth Day.

Capitol Hill Coolness
