The Jewel Box Gets Us Every Time

This home swept us off our feet. Those of us not assigned to this staging job had to stop by at some point and see what the fuss was all about. It’s sweet, stylishly restored and feels good to be inside. No surprise it sold immediately!

Brought to you by Linda Moline & Darcy Breene of Windermere Real Estate. Yes, we did the staging. It’s good, right?

Fall's Offerings

The beauty of Seattle is our 4 seasons. The autumn colors are stunning here. We get to move into warm earthy tones, drink less beer and more tea, less BBQ and more soups, less yard work and more nesting. Change is good. So happy to find a moment to share some of my fall favorites with you all. Love, Erin

Log Cabin Chic

I tapped into our staging team for shopping tips. It's fun to see what everyone is into. Right now on Kristen's mind is a 2nd home. Of course we have all weighed in on how it should be decorated because that's just what we do. Loving her inspiration photos and her vision.

The Secret to Throw Pillows Begins with your Art.

Throw pillows are a Stager Girls best weapon. They infuse personality, color and texture in a room. We typically begin with our art and build the combinations from there. Let's start with this art found on Etsy. (The throw pillows can be found at Target.) Just click on the image and shop!

We have a print for interest, color to pop it and white if we need to calm it and texture for depth and interest.

Now let's work with navy and white-our current obsession. Using this art from etsy.

Dreaming up a master bedroom from Wayfair.

Putting together some of the pieces that speak to you helps guide the personality of the room. What a breeze shopping Wayfair and creating the look. Here is a room I put together. (May need to switch the vanity but I wanted to marinate in the look for awhile before I abandoned the modern touch.)

I started with flowers...

Soft, lovely and fresh looking flowers are a must. Available right here.

Also the rage is the upholstered headboard here. Check out the lamps on the nightstands. Tweet Tweet.

A pale pink skirted chair to soften the modern vanity. Skirted chair here.

I kind of like the vanity being the only edgy thing in the room.  Here.

A couple of these chairs with the blue floral pillows and you are good! Chairs here.
Add a fabulous faux fur and the room gets sexier. Faux fur throw here.

A substantial side table between the chairs for a lamp, treasures and books is a must in the sitting area. Side table here.

Throw pillow here.

and here.

and here.

Only in my bedroom would I love this, anywhere else its just too corny for me. Here.

And all together you have a bedroom that rocks!

First stop-Avalon Hotel Beverly Hills

These Stager girls always have to begin our inspiration tour with a beautiful hotel. We love starting at the Avalon Hotel which has been newly decorated by Kelly Wearstler. As I struggle with computer problems I can only give you shots from Pinterest. There are very few shots of the new changes so I will scoop that off my camera and get back to you.

Colors: House Beautiful

House Beautiful's Michele Bernhardt's article on Balancing your home with color.
"It will remind you to live life fully and love your body."

I don't know about the 'love your body part' but it certainly adds some sexiness and richness to your space. The plus side to that is that you don't have to go all in, just a bit delivers the look.
