Houzz Pro Review

Back in the day when we started our business (18 years ago) very few business tools were at our finger tips. We created invoices from a word document! Archaic…I get it.

At our industry’s monthly meeting, we discuss what works, what doesn’t work, and most importantly how to grow our business. Here’s a tip I like sharing on how to look and act like a Pro:

Sign up for HouzzPro! Tons of resources and shopping at your finger tips.

  1. Leads. Your leads and inquiries come into your mailbox. Soooo… easy to respond and connect

  2. Create your design project then add notes and details

This next one I LOVE:

3. Create Proposals. HouzzPro walks you through the simple process

4. Create Mood Boards and Floor Plans

5. Send and receive messages (plus it saves the conversations in your job file)

My second favorite is this:

6. An easy download of “Clipper” and you can add products with photos and pricing to your proposal from HouzzPro or any other product sources. HOW PROFESSIONAL IS THAT?!!!

7. Invoice and receive payments. (that totally ups your business game!)

Starting or managing your company today does not have to be an 18 year old fuddy duddy process now. You have tools all in one package. Now that’s some good advice, right?

Staging Vignettes

Just showing off some of our staging jobs. We do favor blue… It’s the color of the sea and the sky and is thought to induce calm and convey serenity and peace. Yup! That’s what we were going for.

Back in the saddle...kind of

Had some time to get inspired by others...

It is challenging to furnish a room when the fireplace should be the focal point but it is difficult to get the furniture gathered around it due to space. They did a great job here.
This room is very similar to how we stage. Love the brown and white look throughout.

I would not feel bad about having this as a guest room in a pinch. What a pretty little space.

This is a great idea in a space that may be temporary or one where remodeling is not an option. Clever indeed.

This looks like it was staged by us-but it is not. We own the pillows, the urns, lamps and have a similar coffee table.
