Large & In Charge

This was such an enormous job. So many rooms to stage, style, steam and sell! We had all hands on deck for this beauty. Personally, I love this neighborhood. The neighborhood pool is right across the street. For sure it’s Mayberry.

This fabulous home is listed by Rayme Teders for Windermere Real Estate and the staging is by us at Open House Staging.

Our Tips on Hanging Art

Ask these Stager Girls how to hang art-we’ve got answers!

We sometimes have up to 32 pieces of art to hang each day on the job. Of course we have some hard fast rules but we also just go with our gut. Here are some of our tips:

HANG ARTWORK AT EYE LEVEL.

A standard height for hanging art is with the center 57” above the floor.

Above a sofa or table the bottom of the art should be 6-8” above the furniture.

We go with 5” above a mantle

Spacing between pieces is 3” to 6”

When we have groupings we arrange them on the floor first and make sure we like the combination.

And finally, a few simple tools helps us get the job done.
