Now we're getting crafty

Our Stager Gal extraordinaire, Jodi, was inspired by a DIY project from Scotshill House so she gathered the wreath supplies and created her own. We loved the results and wanted to inspire you.

How cool is that?!

Our Tips on Hanging Art

Ask these Stager Girls how to hang art-we’ve got answers!

We sometimes have up to 32 pieces of art to hang each day on the job. Of course we have some hard fast rules but we also just go with our gut. Here are some of our tips:

HANG ARTWORK AT EYE LEVEL.

A standard height for hanging art is with the center 57” above the floor.

Above a sofa or table the bottom of the art should be 6-8” above the furniture.

We go with 5” above a mantle

Spacing between pieces is 3” to 6”

When we have groupings we arrange them on the floor first and make sure we like the combination.

And finally, a few simple tools helps us get the job done.
