Store Inspiration

Motivated by our colleague and designer "J" to pay a visit to this amazing shop located in Kirkland called Haystack's Antiques.

Beautifully crafted vignettes, inspiring collections and creative displays. I even loved the large dish full of miscellaneous doll arms. I guess it is a collection as odd as it may be.

What it tells me is that I need to get out of the warehouse, off the job site and get inspired.

Kinda Scary Christmas Window

While shopping downtown Seattle we came across this window display. It was kind of creepy. The doll was leaning against the window "pleading" to get out.

Reminds me of this real estate listing that had the same doll photographed in each room.

Three knit turkeys all in a row! (I wish you could see the other 2.) This is such a sweet store front. The window displays are always amazing. Created by Zoe Sherman-super star window designer for Hilltop Yarn on Queen Anne in Seattle. Rumor has it she's for hire....

This is a lovely chocolate shop on Queen Anne. Everyone raves about their fancy hot chocolate. I love each season's window display.
