The Seattle & East Side Market is Bursting with Great Properties!

We are thrilled to report the wheels at Open House Staging are churning and burning. Tons of great properties we have staged this month and a robust February and March calendar to boot! What a success when our staged properties sell immediately. Sales are in the air and we get to be a part of it!

Here is a beauty we recently staged…

An incredible Madison Park home listed by Shawna Ader at Windermere Real Estate and the stellar staging job is by Team Open House!

A Home with a Fabulous Personality

Grateful to be the staging company on this incredible project. Who wouldn’t fall in love with this beauty!? Great lighting pays off!

Listing by Alexander Duff at eXp commercial and the bad ass staging is by the talented, funny, energetic and discerning gals at Open House Staging.

The Jewel Box Gets Us Every Time

This home swept us off our feet. Those of us not assigned to this staging job had to stop by at some point and see what the fuss was all about. It’s sweet, stylishly restored and feels good to be inside. No surprise it sold immediately!

Brought to you by Linda Moline & Darcy Breene of Windermere Real Estate. Yes, we did the staging. It’s good, right?

A Timber Baron?

I love when a home has some real Seattle history. Built by a “Timber Baron”. This home is stunning! There is a back stairway that services all of the “servants” areas. I went over 30 minutes working without seeing any of my staging peeps. Yes, it’s that big. I am only showing you a small portion of it.

This beauty is listed by Benjamin Chotzen for Compass and the staging is by the ladies at Open House Staging.

Another Great Home

What a fun house and yes…it’s pending

This hip house is listed by Ellen Gillette & Holley Ring of Windermere and the bad ass staging was put together by the Rock Stars at Open House Staging.

What a Beauty

When I walked into this house to give a staging bid, I saw a big happy family. So much space, so many rooms, big Thanksgiving gatherings, holiday parties…the works! It was a huge job for us Stager Gals.

This friendly neighborhood home is listed by Amy Sajer for Windermere and the steller staging is by the Open House ladies.

Phinney Ridge Beauty

Thrilled to hear all of the positive feedback on this home. The secret sauce? A killer agent and a bad ass staging company.

This big, blue beauty is listed by Darci Gillespie for Windermere and as usual this brilliant and bold staging was put together by the gals at Open House Staging.

Farm House Chic

Builders and buyers are still loving the farmhouse vibe. Shiplap is still a thing and accent walls are holding strong. My favorite trend that remains is the covered outdoor space. The rainy days here thank you for continuing to create year round usable spaces. Here is a new build we staged.

This beautiful home is listed by Tom Maider and Brad Knowles and the badass staging is by us gals at Open House Staging.

Easy City Living

This home is in an old Seattle neighborhood. Very lovely. Take a minute to tour and dream….

Listing by Jane Powers Ewing & Clark Inc and the fabulous staging by us gals at Open House Staging.

Queen Anne Beauty

We finally had an opportunity to use one of our new purchases from our time at market in Las Vegas. We call it “the Ladies”. See the image in the media room. Took 3 of us to hang it but what a POW! it provided.

This one of a kind home was listed by Rene Stern & Kim Wesselman-Windermere and the fabulous staging is done by us gals at Open House Staging.

Real Estate Rock Star

We like introducing you to agents we work with, love and admire. To us, it is worth spreading the word on the Real Estate Rock Stars out there.

Meet JASON VIYDO. He makes the home buying and selling process almost effortless. With his many years of experience in the industry he has seen and experienced just about everything. My advice? Listen to him, do what he says and your property will be listed, shown and sold in the best light. I appreciate that he personally meets us at the property, the inspector, the appraiser, the painter, the cleaner-it's all hands on and laser focused. I gave him a few get to know ya questions:

WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT YOUR PROFESSION?

The opportunity to help my clients get clear on their real estate goals.  It is one of the biggest financial purchase or sale most of us make in our lifetime.  In some cases, giving the advice to not buy or sell if it is not in the best interest of my client is a rewarding part of my job.  I like being able to help someone achieve their goals.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN AN AGENT?

30 years; all with Windermere Real Estate

WHAT IS ONE OF YOUR FAVORITE LISTINGS?

A group of townhomes on Yale in the Eastlake neighborhood in 2008. This was a fabulous site overlooking Lake Union, the city skyline and evening sunsets in the most challenging market I ever faced.  I was able to get them all sold, while other properties around the city were going to foreclosure.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE DRINK?

Bourbon on the rocks.  It reminds me of my father; he always had a bottle of Old Grandad in the liquor cabinet, even though I never saw him take a drink.

IF YOU HAD A BOAT WHAT WOULD YOU NAME IT?

The Carol Marie. (ahhh... I love that-your sweet adorable wife!)

WHAT IS THE BEST PURCHASE YOU EVER MADE?

Our home where we raised our family.  However, I always enjoy the purchase of a hot, freshly baked chocolate chip cookie.

WHAT IS THE WORST THING ABOUT YOUR JOB?

Parking in city.  To ease my pain, I’ve switched to a small electric car, the I-3.  I can create a parking spot darn near anywhere.

WHAT BENEFIT DO YOU BRING TO A GROUP OF FRIENDS?

Humor.  I like to give my friend’s a good-natured ribbing.  If you can dish it out, you got to be able to take it.

WHAT WAS THE LAST BOOK YOU READ?

Leaders Eat Last by Simon Sinek.  This book is about being a leader and pulling together as a team.
